Glory Of God
Vision Statement
Glory of God Ministries
We are a ministry founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our nation and our world.

We have established a reputation for reaching the lost and broken and to minister and server them with the utmost level of dignity and respect.

To help equip, educate, and encourage men and women throughout the nations to obey the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to "go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

"But you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8
Our mission is to:-
  • Promote Christian faith.
  • Promote new pastors, and encourage missionary work.
  • Assist and help the poor.
  • To cooperate with other churches
Faith Statement
When we consider that society is being submerged under the flood of unrighteousness and lawlessness we are therefore committed to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community; not just in ministering to the spiritual needs but also the emotional and physical needs of humanity.

We are convinced that God has established us in London at Tooting, also with our neighbouring churches for specific reasons:

  • To bring the Gospel to the community
  • To edify and strengthen the body of Christ
  • To reach the highest heights possible in praise and worship as described in John 4: 24-26
Mission Statement
We are the voice and the hand that encourages people to change their lives with hope, comfort and peace.

“For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.” Isaiah 51:3

Belief Statement

The bible is the inspired word of God, a revelation from God to mankind, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Timothy 3:15-16 ; 1 peter 2:2)

The one true God has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent, self - revealed "I AM" and has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship association, Father, Son , and Holy Ghost
(Deuteronomy 6 :4 ; Mark 12 : 29 ; Isaiah 43: 10,11 ; Matthew 28 : 19)

Evangelical Church Glory of God accept the revelation of the triune God has given in the Scriptures of the old and New Testaments, and confess the historic faith of the Gospel therein set forth.

They here assert doctrines which they regard as crucial to the understanding of the faith, and which should issue in mutual love, practical Christian service and evangelical concern.

  • God: There is one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, he arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on high, he is now our High priest and Advocate.
  • The Holy Spirit: The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
  • Man: Man was created in the image of god but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  • Salvation: The shed blood of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.
  • The Return of Jesus Christ: The personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
  • Future Events: There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
  • The Church: The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.

The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfilment of the great commission. Each believer born of the spirit, is an integral part of the church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (Ephesians 1: 22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12 : 33)

  • The Ordinance of baptism: Baptism, by water immersion and by Spirit, soon after accepting Christ as personal Saviour, is testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life and the Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it. (Matthew 28:19 ; Acts 10: 47-48 ; Romans 6 : 4 ; Acts 20:21 ; Hebrews 10:22)

In the baptism of believers as a unique work of the Holy Ghost - an evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2 : 4 ). The manifestation of speaking in other tongues, in this instance, is the same in essence as the gift of tongues (1 Corinthian 12 : 4-10,28 ) but different in purpose and use.

The Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command, "be ye holy, for I am holy." Entire scarification is the will of God for all believers, and should earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's word (Hebrews 12 : 14; 1 Peter 1: 15-16 ; 1 Thessalonians 5 : 23-24; 1 John 2:6).
  • Deliverance : Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17).
